A computer virus is a malicious software designed to compromise a system and change or delete information. The information on your computer could become unusable if it is infected with a virus. Human beings are responsible for carrying it out.

Downloading unauthorized software from the internet is another way that viruses can spread. They might be concealed in a free or trial version of the software that you download, or in some other file.

Cavity Virus: As it doesn’t change the file size, and to steal important information same time virus infects files by filling in empty spaces
Polymorphic Virus : Self-Encryption-based virus that can hide from anti-virus detection. Changing its virus name frequently makes it tough to discover
Worms
Worms duplicate themselves on the local disc, network shares, any connected devices, etc. Worms replicate without human action. It doesn’t damage computer files. Worms spread by taking advantage of flaws in operating systems.
